Specialised reflexology treatments for enhanced wellbeing and balance.
It's hard to know the order in which to list the events and interests that shaped me (so far...) and make me who I am so I will offer you a brief list but in no particular order. All my experiences, interests and roles are important but no single one defines me.....
A child of the 1960's (I'm 58!!), swimmer (especially cold water), mother, gardener, ex-nurse, menopausal, grandmother, home cook, reflexologist, soft furnishing manufacturer, wife, dog lover, librarian and art technician, sister, staying fit particularly with Pilates, nature lover.
So, a reflexology treatment with me comes with a vast and varied background of experience and training which comes from a passion for knowledge and further learning.
Life is hectic - the responsibilites we have, caring roles and demands on our time can lead to stress, anxiety and overwhelm.
We need to prioritise self-care to enable us to cope with all these demands and live happy, healthy, balanced lives.
My aim is to help relieve some of the symptoms associated with stress, anxiety, menopause, chronic conditions and overwhelm such as tension, poor sleep, anxiety, aches and pains etc. All of this in a safe, non-judgmental space.
I am a member of both the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

My training covered specialist techniques and adaptations for:

Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy which can be enjoyed alongside conventional medical treatments allowing the body to rebalance and restore wellbeing naturally.
Reflexology is based on the belief that the whole of the body is represented in the feet, hands, and ears at specific points calls reflexes. Using hands, thumbs and fingers gentle pressure is applied to the reflexes which releases areas of discomfort. The tenderness in some of the reflexes is transient and the overall effect is one of calm, deep relaxation and an enhanced sense of wellbeing.
It should not be used as an alternative to conventional medical treatment or to seeking medical attention. Most people can have reflexology but there are a few occasions where it may not be suitable. Any questions you may have can be answered when you book your treatment.
In your first session a full history is taken and then an investigatory reflexology treatment is given involving all the reflexes. I will use thumbs, fingers and hands to work the reflexes and the feedback from this treatment is then used to formulate a personalised treatment plan which forms the basis of your following treatments. All treatments finish with a relaxing foot and lower leg massage or hand and forearm if having a treatment on the hands. I will chat to you about your aftercare and suggest your personal schedule of reflexology treatments.
Reflexology is given in a reclining chair which elevates the feet. Any adjustments are made to ensure that you are as comfortable and supported as possible and a cosy blanket provided to snuggle under - especially good in the cooler months!

Reflexology aims to treat the person rather than the condition by considering your wellbeing from both a physical and non-physical perspective and is individual to everyone. Your treatment is bespoke and designed for your needs alone.
As a deeply relaxing complementary therapy, reflexology helps the body release tension, boost mood, enhance sleep quality, and promote an improved sense of wellbeing. Experience the benefits of personalised reflexology sessions designed to restore balance and harmony, right here in Warwickshire.
Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy suitable for everyone: babies, children, teenagers through to those experiencing the menopause, older individuals and everybody in between. We all experience challenges to our wellbeing at all stages of our lives. Reflexology offers gentle care, tailored to the needs of the individual.
...all you need to remove is your footwear!
Loose trousers are a good idea to allow for the leg massage.
If you are self-conscious about your feet or ticklish, please don't worry. Reflexology is a reassuring, therapeutic touch and there is no judgement about how your feet look. Every foot is welcome!
Everyone is individual and has different aims for their treatments. You may feel the benefit immediately or it may take a few weeks to feel the cumulative effect. This can be discussed after your treatment and a schedule suggested for you. You may wish to have treatments to maintain balance and an enhanced sense of wellbeing.
Everyone feels the effects of stress at certain times in their lives and how we manage this stress has a huge impact on our emotional wellbeing. Reflexology can help to relieve tension, improve mood and sleep quality, supporting the body to cope with the stress.
